Generator control panel switches

A selector switch (also called a rotary switch) lets an operator choose between operating modes on a control panel, such as Manual / Off / Auto on a generator set, or between sources and feeders. Elmec supplies selector switches in several positions and contact configurations to suit your panel design and site requirements.

Pushbutton switches are used for start, stop, reset and emergency functions on generator control panels and synchronizing systems. We supply momentary and maintained types, with different colours and contact blocks, so your operators can identify each function at a glance.

Where they are used

Our switches are used in generator control panels, ATS panels, synchronizing panels and other industrial control equipment. If you are upgrading an existing panel, we can help you match the cut-out size, contact arrangement and ratings of your current switches.

Need help choosing?

We supply every selector switch and pushbutton in our range with your panel in mind. First, we check the voltage, contact arrangement and operating environment. Then we recommend a type that fits. For example, panels near a generator need switches that handle vibration and dust. If you are replacing parts on an older panel, send us the cut-out size and ratings. As a result, you avoid redrilling or rewiring. We also match switches to our synchronizing panels and ATS panels, so every part works together. For control circuit devices, we follow standards such as IEC 60947-5-1. Call us for a quote.
