Project
Two-set synchronized generator system for a hospital building.
Two 800 kVA diesel generator sets share the building load through one synchronizing control panel, so either set can carry the load while the other is out for service.
How a synchronization panel works
A synchronization panel lets two or more generator sets run in parallel and share one load. The panel matches the voltage, frequency and phase of each set before it closes onto the bus. Then it shares the load between the sets automatically. As a result, the site gets more capacity, and one set can stop for service while another keeps the power on.
Where we use them
Hospitals, data centers, factories and commercial buildings use parallel generators when a single set cannot carry the load or when power must never fail. We design each panel around your generators, your loads and your site, so the system fits the way you operate.
Upgrading an existing system
Many older sites run synchronizing controls that are hard to service or no longer supported. We can upgrade the controls, protection and metering without replacing the whole installation. This saves time and keeps your downtime short.
Works with your other panels
A synchronization panel often works together with ATS and voltage regulator equipment and generator controllers. We design the full system, so every part works together from the first day. For paralleling and generator set standards, we follow guidance such as ISO 8528. Call 02-314-2656 to discuss your project.
